Brief Bio

​Denetrick Powers is the co-founder and Director of Planning & Engagement for NEOO

Partners. As a curator of space and experience, Denetrick leverages his

expertise in arts & culture with his background in urban planning to develop

creative programming solutions for public & private sector clients. Deeply rooted in his

values are honesty and trust which support outcomes in stakeholder engagement and

create sustainable relationships and goal-oriented outcomes.

Denetrick has had the pleasure of working with stakeholders of all backgrounds and

leadership positions resulting in more equitable development policies & practices adopted locally and nationally.

Hailing from the Northside of Minneapolis, Denetrick is a proud Polar and Gopher.

Denetrick’s passion for visual and performance art stems from his innate curiosity

and belief that creativity is a form of personal development. In addition to being an urban planning professional, Denetrick is also a lover of creative direction and the ability of art to communicate messages and inherent biases.
